Orchid Compot Kit
The perfect add-on to our orchid flasks. Want to get together with some other orchid and plant loving friends? How about a deflasking party to add to your collections, or to grow plants for your society?
Included in each kit are:
6- 5" plastic bulb pans. These shallow pots have great drainage and are perfect for creating compots. The shallow depth prevents over watering of the small seedlings. Can be reused multiple times, as long as they are sterilized between uses.
1- quart bag of Seedling Mix. This blend contains fine grade Douglas Fir Bark, Spongerock and Perlite. Suggested for most epiphytic orchids, like our Cattleyas and also ladyslippers.
1- 100 gram package of New Zealand Sphagnum Moss. Super clean, and long strands perfect for Phalaenopsis, Lycaste, Trichopilea and other moisture loving genera.
6- Blank White Plant Tags. Can't forget the label! While each of our orchid flasks comes with a full name tag, we also recommend labeling individually planted containers. These sturdy can be written on with pencil, or an ultra-fine tip Sharpie.
