Paphiopedilum henryanum

This charmer is one of the smallest growing Paphiopedilums.  Paphiopedilum henryanum is a miniature species native to southern regions of China and into Vietnam.  Plants are very small growing, with leaves only about 6" long.  Each bloom appears on a stem approximately 4"-5" tall.  The pouch is lavender to darker pink, with heavily spotted dorsal and sepals.  Mature specimens can have multiple fans producing blooms each year.

Growing Suggestions- Low to medium light, similar to Phalaenopsis conditions are best. Plants can tolerate intermediate to warm temperatures during the growing season (65°-85°) but also enjoys cooler, winter temperatures down to 55°.  Water routinely to avoid the roots becoming completely dry.

5/26/23- We have a few, very nice plants available.  All are flowering size in 2.5" pots with a leafspan approximately 6"-7" across.  Plants are expected to flower for the first time within 12 months.

These beautiful plants were provided by our friends at a wholesale orchid nursery in Hawaii. Because we did not raise them in our greenhouses, we can not guarantee them to be virus free as we would our own lab grown material. Otherwise, we guarantee your satisfaction and safe delivery as with other plant purchases.
