This tropical gesneriad is closely related to African Violets and requires much of the same care. Medium to bright indirect light and moderate temperatures such as you have in your home will be the perfect choice for these showy plants. Prefers to be watered when soil is dry to the touch and foliage should be kept dry whenever possible. Repot only when root bound, and then use snug containers. Trumpet shaped blooms appear on semi-sequential stems throughout the year, though the biggest show will be in the spring and summer.
'Misue' emerged as a sport a number of years ago and we liked it so much we just kept growing it! Gorgeous displays of yummy looking, blackberry colored blooms. Dark texture, and long-lasting blooms. Average sized grower with prolific foliage.
Our current crop is growing in 3.5"-4" pots and are coming into their flowering season. (Please note we must watch the weather carefully to ship this item).
