Miltassia Madeline Rose 'Mendenhall'
(Mtssa. Charles M. Fitch 'Evelyn' x Milt. candida (MAJ)
Hybrids bred from warm growing Miltonias are great selections for those growing in warmer climates. Add in a dose of Spider Orchid (Brassia) and you get some really neat looking blooms. This is a limited edition mericlone from our nursery. Beautiful star-shaped flowers in shades of pink and green, with darker maroon markings. Will make great specimens!
Growing Suggestions: These plants will like medium to bright, indirect light such as a south or east facing window. Sunrooms and grow windows will also be appropriate. Temperature tolerance ranges from 65°-85°, but plants can easily adapt to cooler or warmer weather. Keep plants hydrated, with lots of moving air and humidity. When repotting do not divide very often since larger plants bloom more readily.
We have blooming size plants in 4" pots, that are expected to bloom later this summer. Plants pictured are the exact ones we are sending.
