(Bright Pink/Orange form)
This miniature species in the Vanda alliance is highly recommended for warm growing conditions. Very rewarding selection with multiple sprays of tiny blooms in shades of bold pink to coral with orange highlights. Plants will stay very dwarf and as they mature will produce multiple crowns from the base. Best suited for basket or mount culture, or in pots with plenty of loose, well-draining media.
Growing Suggestions: These will need plenty of bright, indirect light throughout the year, with the brightest given around spring to summer blooming season. Too much light can easily cause sunburned foliage. Plants prefer warm conditions of 70 degrees or warmer most of the year, though they can tolerate short spells down to the 50's with little stress. Since plants are usually grown in baskets or in open media, high humidity is best to prevent dehydrated plants. Water multiple times per week when grown indoors, and once to twice per day outdoors and in shadehouse conditions. Fertilize year round, our recommendation is every second or third watering.
Offered here are vigorous growing seedlings in 2" mesh pots. Plants are expected to flower for the first time in the coming 6-12 months, in season. These beautiful plants were provided by our friends at a wholesale orchid nursery in Hawaii. Because we did not raise them in our greenhouses, we can not guarantee them to be virus free as we would our own lab grown material. Otherwise, we guarantee your satisfaction and safe delivery as with other plant purchases.
