This is a popular spring blooming species that will be easy to grow for most Cattleya collectors. Amethyst colored blooms with a heavenly sweet fragrance. We have found we get the best foliage and blooms when growing this plant hanging high in the greenhouse with lots of bright, indirect light. This cultivar is a short grower with very round flower form.
