Paphiopedilum insigne var. sanderae
Offered here is the rare album form of this hard to find species. Low growing, medium green foliage will showcase stems of light chartreuse blooms in mid to late winter. Flowers are lacking any other pigment or spotting, that would normally be found on this species. Plants prefer moderate light levels and should be allowed a slight winter resting period. The addition of crushed limestone may be beneficial. Recommended for intermediate and advanced growers.
The plant pictured is the one you will receive, currently growing in a 3.5" pot. The bloom photo shows what flowers on a mature plant will look like.
