Blc. Kathryn Elisabeth Brooker x Laelia purpurata semi-alba 'Sao Jorge'
New Cross Alert! So what happens when you take a summer variety that has creamy semi-alba blooms and combine it with a beautiful, fragrant species? We don't know for sure but we can't wait to find out! The pod parent is a unique selection bred from a yellow cattleya and that is where the petal flares come from. We are hoping for at least some to turn out with pale, creamy petals and purple lip coloring. Genetics are funny though, so some yellows or even lavenders are possible. Summertime bloomers?
