Refund policy

Guaranteed Safe Delivery:


We guarantee safe delivery of orchid orders within the contiguous United States if we are allowed to choose the shipping method, if we are allowed to withhold shipment until weather conditions are conducive to safe delivery, and if we are allowed to ship to a business address or to an address where someone will be available to sign a delivery receipt. We pack orchids in bud or in bloom carefully, but we do not guarantee that buds or blooms will not be damaged in shipment for reasons beyond our control.

 

Damaged Shipments:


We take great care in packing your order. If damage is evident upon receipt of an order, please keep all packing material and plants, please report the damage to us immediately, and please email, text or mail photographs showing any damage. We may request that you return the damaged items.

 

Lost or Missing Packages:

When we ship your order, you are emailed a tracking number so that you know when your package will arrive.  Please plan to be available to receive your package, or to have someone move it to a safe location.  If your order is marked Delivered, but is missing please contact your local Post Office or Fed Ex (1 (800) 463-3339) and ask them to query the driver.  Many drivers are now providing Geo-location tags as well as photos showing the delivery spot.  Please use your Tracking Number as a reference.

 

Returns of Undamaged Plants:

 We accept returns of undamaged plants for refund or trade credit in the original packing materials within two weeks of receipt by customers. This means to not trim foliage, remove from pots, etc before returning the plants. 

 Our charges to customers for packing and shipping plants that are then delivered undamaged are non-refundable, and customers are responsible for their cost of returning undamaged plants to us.  You will be refunded or credited the purchase price of the plants only.

 

Cancelling an Order:

If you have placed an order with us and need to cancel it please contact us immediately via email and/phone.  

If you cancel an order that was placed online and is already being processed there may be a cancellation fee based on your order size.  This cost is for the non-refundable fees that Shopify charges for processing payments. 

If you cancel an order that has already been packed/shipped we may not be able to refund you the cost of packing and shipping.  

If you cancel an order that has already been shipped, and left our premises you will be charged the cost of shipping, and any charges we incur in having the package returned to the nursery. Once the plants are back with us, you will be refunded the cost of the plants.
