Shipping Update

Update 2/19/26

We are shipping as many orders as weather allows. To most areas we are shipping within the usual 7-10 days. Colder areas will be delayed.

Again, we strongly encourage FedEx shipping for your purchases. USPS is taking 4-6 days on average which means we have to find a longer safe weather window in order to ship your package.

Be watching for emails with tracking results.

Where Can We Ship....And When?

Our policy for safe delivery is to ship Ready to Bloom Orchids through temperatures of 32° and above. This includes items for gifts that are in spike, bud or bloom stage.

For seedlings and other non-blooming plants, temperatures of 26° and above are safe with heat packs, which we provide at no additional cost.  

For temperatures at 25° or below, orders are set aside and cared for until a safe weather window opens up. If we think that window is not likely to occur within 3 weeks, you will be contacted by us. Please make sure to provide a phone number and email address when ordering.

Ordering for Northern States is once again enabled. There will still be delays due to cold, but we expect to be able to ship in the coming weeks.

The nursery is open to the public from 9-5, Monday through Saturday year round, and you are welcome any time. (We are closed for major holidays.)

In addition to our orchids, we also love companion plants like begonias, gesneriads, ferns and more.  We propagate most ourselves from cuttings, spore or seed. 

Our collection includes decades old varieties not commonly seen, plus new and exciting plants. Varieties available may change seasonally but we always have something to choose from.
