Lockhartia acuta x self
One of the rare 'braided' orchids. This miniature species has light green leaves that are intertwined to appear braided together. Tiny yellow blooms appear in the spring and summer on branched stems. We suggest watering this plant like an Oncidium, due to its fine root system. However, bright indirect Cattleya light is best.
Plants are growing in 2.5" pots and are currently large enough to flower within 12 months. (Not recommended for mounting).
