Bulbophyllum cocoinum 'Phelps Farm'
This is a rare, compact growing species native to Africa. Lush green foliage and pseudobulbs, showcase delicate stems of tiny, blush-white flowers in late summer and early fall. Blooms are faintly scented with coconut (hence the name).
Growing Suggestions: This species is fairly tolerant of a wide range in conditions, though we suggest keeping in medium light levels to avoid burning foliage. As the plant grows, and becomes crowded good airflow becomes even more important to avoid leaf issues. Can be grown in shallow containers with moisture retentive media, or on mounts with high humidity. (Plants sometimes shed older leaves when growing environment changes).
We are offering a number of blooming size divisions from our collection plant, each with 3 or more bulbs and established in 3" mesh baskets. Large enough to flower within 6 months.
