History of the Magentas- This particular strain originated with a flask we got many years ago.  Most were magentas and a few were the prized indigos. We immediately put them to work making sib crosses.  We have found that while the indigo sib crosses resulted in 100% blues, the magenta crosses always showed a few surprise blues. So you can expect mostly quality magenta blooms with glowing color along with a few indigos from this seedling population.  Fragrant with a spicy, sweet scent. Plants are beautiful with lush foliage. These should be grown in intermediate to warm conditions year round and low light (1200-1500 foot candles) for best results. No cold water on the foliage, especially in winter.

Plants are compact growing with lush foliage and prefer warm temperatures along with medium light levels. Fragrance is a blend of sweet and spicy. Blooms emerge sequentially on evergreen stems in the late summer and early fall. We have found that they grow best in media that retains moisture evenly, such as a sphagnum moss based mix.
