- 144 pages containing descriptions of orchids from around the world. 40 full color plates depict species in exacting detail.
- This Elephant sized folio is in its original red cloth slipcover, which does show some rubbing and light markings. Near the bottom is a darker water stain on the fabric. Inside slip cover shows softening of the fabric and medium foxing.
- Measuring 18 ½” x 14 ¼” x 2 ¾” and weighing approximately 18 lbs. Hardbound with full vellum in Very Good condition, with some chipping around the top and bottom of boards/spine (see photo). End covers show some very light foxing.
- Inside the book is in Very Good Condition. Pages are edged in gold gilt. Binding is very tight and no marks or tears to any pages. Printed on heavy molded paper.
